Monica Riecke Morakis, a School Based Behavioral Health counselor at our school, created a mural for Malama I Ke Ola Health Center, a community health clinic in Wailuku. Older people will remember the location as the former Ooka supermarket. The first photo shows the completed project placed behind a water feature. The chicken photo is an example of her work with colored tiles.
We appreciate Mrs. Morakis' continuing work with the Na Hoku program that recognizes honor roll students, and now we can add her artistic talents!
